Should i forced my son to play sports

A majority of children should be forced to play something. Living in a time where narcissism is on the rise among youth , the value which sports can bring of teaching teamwork, dedication, and dealing with success and failure is vital. Children need to be involved in sports and parents are the ones who should make the decision for them. We should become one of those parents trying to live our athletic dreams through our children.

We should pressure our children to win. Notice another thing I did not say. I did not say a parent should force a child to play a specific sport. I do not believe they should. A parent should require their child play something. A parent should expose their child to several activities and as the child grows, the child should control which sports he or she plays.

By allowing the child to pick which activities to do, it empowers them to express themselves, learn to control their lives, and understand the consequences of decisions. We should be diligent in assuring the child it is there decision what they play.

They do not have to pick what we love or expect. It was perfect for her. She felt less pressure to compete head to head with other runners. But was always competing against her own best time — and she was part of a team. She learned to be part of a team, win or lose. That motivated her to work hard to improve herself.

Or how many different activities they try. We just care that they play. We care that they play with other people, and we care that they exercise every day as part of their life and that they develop that habit so that it does last through college and into adulthood.

Because we want them to grow up healthy, and we want them to have tools in their own toolboxes to manage their stress as they get older. A habit of healthy activity. The ability to be a leader and a teammate. To develop interpersonal skills that last a lifetime. Technically, There are many sports that aren't physically demanding, Such as ping pong. If you ask your kid to be involved in a sport, You aren't asking them to do a physical deed.

They can choose what sport they play, And if they don't want to be physically challenged, They don't have to be. It helps kids make friends with someone that enjoys the same things, Therefore putting kids in sports is good. The benefits of sports for a child's development are multiple.

Besides the obvious health benefits, Research shows that teens involved in sports are less likely to experiment with smoking, Alcohol and drugs. Sport teaches children how to socialise, Work well as part of a team and become dedicated to putting in effort to achieve a specific goal. It also allows children to deal with disappointment and deal with perceived injustices and 'failures' in life.

We all have to deal with disappointment and injustice in adulthood and a lot of children aren't given the opportunity to prepare for this. You should force kids to play sports for a multitude of reasons. Sports can teach kids important lessons with being humble, Sports can boost kids self-esteem, Children can also learn how to be responsible. When they achieve something, Such as scoring a point, Would boost their confidence in their ability to do things. Forcing kids to play sports also give them skills such as good teamwork or leadership.

Sports can also create stronger friendships for kids between them, Their friends, And their families. You should helps in all of these ways, Sports boost self-esteem. Children learn to be confident on the field. Seeing their hard work pay off brings about loads of self-confidence. When kids achieve their goals on the field it teaches them, They can achieve any other goal they set later down the track. Playing sports help develop teamwork and leadership skills.

Working toward a common goal helps children develop communication and problem-solving skills that will benefit them on the field and off. Exercise is a great way for kids to loosen up and let go. Sports also help kids develop relationships, Which become a support system for them. Kids develop lifelong healthy lifestyle habits. It gives your child a group to belong to. They have a group of friends that has the same goals and interests.

WIthout sports people will be fat. They dont have good team skills, couoperation, and will have a far more diffuclt time doing homework. A lot people say PE is important and it is but then they dont do sports? Pe counts as sports so we are alredy forced to and it helps all students.

Getting hurt is just a thing they need to get used to. I do agree that some kids say they do not want to be pushed to play sports , but i feel that don't see it as a burden , infact it's a time when you can relax , yes, i know, we need to study in school, but too much studying and home works can cause depression, anxiety and such other situations which can be overcome by playing sport.

If you don't like to play harsh games , but you're more like a bookworm. Then, none's forcing you to play harsh games, you can play any game of your choice.
