How does rekluse exp work

We are going to be starting with the more advanced down to the more basic auto clutches. Basically, you have 2 main auto clutches from Rekluse. The Radius and the EXP 3. You can get these 2 auto clutches with different options like with a core or without a core. The RadiusCX auto clutch is Rekluses top of the line auto clutch for dirt bikes. If you want the very best auto clutch in the world the RadiusCX is it.

It comes with all the bells and whistles that the industry has to offer. With the latest TorqDrive friction disks along with the tried and true EXP clutch disks, the performance of this RadiusCX auto clutch is the best on the market. Just like its big brother RadiusCX auto clutch , Rekluse has provided the RadiusX clutch that is a more plug-and-play clutch. The RadiusX from Rekluse provides the dirt biker with consistent performance no matter the conditions. The Core EXP 3.

With all the latest technology and updates the Rekluse clutch is a serious auto clutch for the dirt bike rider that needs performance but does need all the bells and whistles of the more expensive Radius auto clutch. Newly re-designed the Core EXP 3. Its also designed to not fade on those long days and also provide more traction than a standard manual clutch.

At first, after riding for 45 years with a normal clutch lever, then letting the Rekluse do the work was very different. Wow, how long has this been available? I consider myself as having very good clutch control but the Rekluse allows you to have the best of both worlds — use the lever or let the Rekluse handle the tough stuff.

This is very important when fatigue sets in but you still need precise clutch control. Once we had it adjusted correctly, the Core EXP delivered constant power without slip, providing great performance and traction control. The auto-clutch is here to stay and is past that phase where it is some sort of gimmick. Heck, we've picked it, in different evolutions, as Product Of The Year a couple of times now. There are two ways to look at it; either you love it or you won't give it a chance.

At least that's what I say. Like anything, there are advantages and some disadvantages, but Rekluse has taken one of the biggest issues and made it go away. The new EXP is basically a drop-in part, no longer requiring a basket or pressure plate change and no more tuning with hard-to-distinguish ball bearings or needing special tools.

The EXP simply drops into the stock basket after you remove a few of the standard plates and fit it in the void. Depending on the bike, you replace the clutch actuation bearing or have to install some spacers. The instructions are easy to follow, complete and tuning the clutch is done with simple springs that are installed with quarter-turn fasteners and the cable tension on non-hydraulic clutch bikes.

There is even more advanced tuning with different weight wedges, but these are left to very specific riders with unique needs as Rekluse does a good job of supplying a standard setup that most riders will like.
